After all of the crazy stuff Sean Spicer has had to do,Taste of Future Sister-in-law including defending President Trump's ludicrous claims from Day 1, it was a new communications director that finally pushed Spicer to submit his resignation on Friday.

Spicer has become a familiar figure to Americans as his surreal daily press briefings became must-watch television, each day bringing a new, bizarre twist to the ongoing saga.

I mean, this guy hid in the busheson the White House grounds to avoid reporters.

While he's slowly been phased out in favor of Sarah Huckabee Sanders and off-camera briefings, Spicer's decision to resign over the hiring of Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications director still made us catch our breath.

Could it possibly, really, truly be over?
